Loans to Russian farmers rise 15% to 93 bln rbl as of April 6
MOSCOW, Apr 10 (PRIME) -- Russian banks provided 92.59 billion rubles of loans to agricultural producers for seasonal field works as of April 6, up 14.6% on the year, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Russian Agricultural Bank increased lending by 38.5% to 80.15 billion rubles, while Sberbank’s lending fell 45.7% to 12.44 billion rubles.
In 2016, Russian banks provided 344.54 billion rubles of loans to agricultural producers for seasonal field works, including Russian Agricultural Bank providing 260 billion rubles of loans and Sberbank granting 84.54 billion rubles of loans.
